How to play RentRoller

Build a property portfolio, charge rent, and stay solvent longer than every opponent. The game handles the bank, dice, auctions, and payments automatically.

Start a game

Your turn

  1. Roll the dice. Your token moves by the total shown.
  2. Resolve the tile. Buy an available property, pay rent on an opponent's property, draw a card, pay a tax, or follow the corner tile's instruction.
  3. Manage and trade. When the game allows it, propose trades or build on complete property groups.
  4. End the turn. Rolling doubles gives you another roll instead.

Buying and auctions

When you land on an unowned property, you can buy it at the listed price. If it is not purchased, eligible players can compete in a timed open auction.

Rent and building

Owners collect rent when another player lands on their property. Complete a color group to unlock houses and hotels, which increase that rent.

Trading

Offer money and properties to another player. Both sides can review the full exchange before accepting, rejecting, or proposing a different deal.

Winning

If you cannot cover a debt after managing your assets, you are bankrupt. The winner is the last player who remains solvent.
